Ultrasound #5

We had a quick ultrasound this past Wednesday to make sure everything was still hunky-dory...and it was! Our heartrates were in the 150s and all indications from the amount of amniotic fluid we have, the size of our bladders, and the amount of blood flow going through our umbilical cords seems to rule out any twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome at this point. YAY! Mom's blood pressure and iron count are still doing great, and she's now gained 7 pounds since the beginning of the pregnancy. She also found out that she passed her glucose test with flying colors, so Dad took her on a 2-day getaway to Vermont to visit maple sugar shacks and pig out on Ben & Jerry's ice cream!

At 22 weeks along, Mom's belly was measuring 33 weeks! She's enjoying seeing the reaction on strangers' faces when they ask when she's due and she tells them she still has 4 more months to go. :)
