Ultrasound #2 - Oh Boy, Oh Boy!

Well, Mom is officially a patient at Albany Medical Center now and will be having all of her prenatal medical appointments in Latham. Although it's about a 40 minute drive, the doctors, nurses, and staff are amazing and we all feel like we're in good hands as we go through this "high risk pregnancy." Yesterday, we had another Ultrasound to check up on how we are doing. Basically, news reached Mom and Dad that we're eating from the placenta now, and they wanted to check in on how well we were learning how to share.

Overally, things look pretty good right now. We were both VERY active in Mom's womb, walking up the side of her uterus, waving to Mom and the lab techs, practicing our swallowing, and wiggling like crazy (although Mom still hasn't felt us move). LittleBit knows what we're talking about - it's a constant PARTY in here! We both had heartbeats in the 160's. Thing 1 was estimated to be 6 ounces big and 16 weeks, 4 days along. Thing 2 was estimated to be 5 ounces big and 16 weeks, 1 day along. Mom was actually 16 weeks, 1 day along, so no one is "too small" or "too big" at this point. Because we were slightly different in size, though, we'll have another photo session in a couple of weeks. We think by that time, the chest freezer that we ordered should have arrived, so we should be all set on sharing food.

Here are some pictures of us. Thing 1...
...is a boy!! Warning: this blog's rating just got changed from a G to PG-13.
And Thing 2...
...is also a boy! (DUH - we're identical.)
Even though we're only about 5 inches tall, we're getting kinda big to fit both of us into one picture. Here's the best we could do. We're laying perpendicular to each other, cute as can be.
PLEASE keep praying for us as we develop and grow.
