The Pregnancy Symptoms...

The week of Thanksgiving, the symptoms began...

Symptom #1. Monday, Nov 23: Extreme exhaustion.
Now this by itself is of course no need to assume pregnancy. Afterall, Mom was in the middle of a course-heavy semester, had just returned from a psychology conference, and was spending the evenings chasing a toddler. It seemed that Dad was equally exhausted.

Symptom #2. Tuesday, Nov 24: No red onions?
At lunch on Tuesday, Mom ordered a chicken salad sandwich on wheat with lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions (as she so often does), but then when she got around to actually eating it, she just HAD to pick the red onions off. Weird.

Symptom #3: Wednesday, Nov 25: The return of the barking seal.
Dad mentioned Wednesday morning that he was going to make some french-pressed coffee and Mom barked like a baby seal. You know...it's that sound that she made all throughout LittleBit's pregnancy and couldn't imitate for the life of her once LittleBit was born. Hmmmm...

Symptom #4: Thursday, Nov 26: "If I don't eat breakfast soon, I'm gonna get sick"
Hello nausea! Hello morning sickness! It's been so long since you and mom have hung out together, partying throughout the day in the bathroom, yet not quite long enough for Mom to have forgotten that disgusting taste (and sight) of bile.

Symptom #5: Friday, Nov 27: Two positive pregnancy tests.
One to confirm the presence of Thing #1.
The other to confirm the presence of Thing #2.

That's right...Mom and Dad are having twins.
